We are overflowing with gratitude as we reflect on the success of our 14th Annual Event, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. Your support made this year’s gathering truly unforgettable.
Thanks to your incredible generosity and enthusiasm, we raised an astounding $160,000, surpassing our previous record and making this the most successful event in Team Michelle’s history! It was a beautiful evening filled with both familiar faces of long-time supporters and the warmth of new friends.
We are deeply moved by your ongoing support.
Here’s how the funds raised will be allocated:
– 70% will support UCI and KU Medical Research Centers in their ongoing efforts to find a cure.
– 10% will go towards Acts of Love gifts for survivors of Breast Cancer.
– 6% will cover administrative expenses, including our storage unit, Zoom, intern stipends, accountant fees, and tax preparation.
– 1% will be used for Care Packages sent throughout the year to cancer patients, requested by their friends and family. The low percentage is due to the generous donations we receive for these packages, with costs primarily covering packing and shipping.
– The remaining 13%, due to surpassing our goal, will be allocated to further our mission and will be announced at a later date.
